RICH COUNTY, Utah, June 10, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A 16-year-old girl reported missing and endangered after she was seen leaving her job and leaving with an adult male has been found.
She “HAS BEEN LOCATED,” the Rich County Sheriff update says. “SHE IS ALIVE AND SAFE.”
She was found in Billings, Montana.
“The Rich County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all of you who shared this post and helped locate (her). Without your help, she would not have been located. Special thanks to a number of our local businesses, in-state, out-of-state and federal law enforcement agencies. Huge thank you to all the news and media agencies.”
The RCSO statement says the investigation is ongoing.
“No further information can be released at this time.”
On Saturday, the Sheriff’s Office had posted information about the girl leaving with the unknown male, along with photos and his description.
“The suspect had been talking to the victim online and may have driven from North Dakota to pick her up,” the statement says.
Since the teen is a minor, Gephardt Daily will no longer be sharing her name or photograph.
The Sheriff’s statement did not include any information about the man, reportedly in his early 20s, who drove away with girl, or any potential charges. Gephardt Daily will share details as the case develops.
