WOODLAND HILLS, Utah, Aug. 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials have identified a 26-year-old man from Provo who died in a crash Tuesday evening near 11000 S. Woodland Hills Drive.

The deceased is Kyle Eiji Jackson, said a tweet from Utah County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Spencer Cannon.

Cannon tweeted at about 6:35 p.m. Tuesday that a southbound passenger car apparently had drifted into the northbound lane and collided with a small commercial tar tanker.

The car’s driver who died at the scene, later identified as Jackson, was not wearing a seatbelt, Cannon tweeted.

“Impairment is not suspected to be a factor and it appears that Kyle was killed on impact,” Cannon added.
