UTAH, July 11, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The National Weather Service has placed nearly all of Utah under an Extreme Heat Warning, in effect until at least early Tuesday.
The locations affected are most Utah valleys, and Uinta County in Wyoming.
Extreme heat is expected, with highs to 105 degrees or a bit more below 6,000 feet. Overnight temperatures will have lows of about 70 to 75 degrees.
People in this level of heat are advised to:
- Watch for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke
- Wear light-colored clothing
- Drink plenty of water
- Stay out of the sun
