Vehicle Slams into TJ Maxx Store; Smashes into Break Room
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – June 29, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake City Police Department officers responded to a traffic accident where a vehicle had struck a building at TJ Maxx, 1122 E. Brickyard Road, at 5:10 p.m. yesterday, June 28.
The vehicle was pulling out of a parking lot across the street and accelerated into the building, partially breaking through into an unoccupied break room.
According to witnesses, one occupant fled the scene before police arrived. The other vehicle occupant was interviewed on scene.
No arrests were made at the time and the investigation is still ongoing.
