SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 26, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Northbound Interstate 15 at 2100 South in Salt Lake City has reopened after two vehicles caught on fire following a crash Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The Utah Department of Transportation tweeted at approximately 3 p.m. that crews were responding to the crash at mile post 304, and all lanes of I-15 were closed.
The lanes were reopened by 5 p.m., UDOT said in a follow-up tweet.
It’s still unclear what caused the crash and the extent of any injuries.
