WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah, July 14, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A vehicle fire on Interstate 15 in Washington County spread to nearby brush Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters responded just before 3 p.m. to a vehicle fire on southbound I-15 that had spread to nearby brush about a mile south of Leeds, Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue stated on social media.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported. The fire spread approximately 1.5 acres before being contained,” the post says.
Color Country and New Harmony fire crews also responded.
