WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 10, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Wasatch County Search & Rescue crews were called out just after midnight Thursday morning after three hunters were reported overdue.
The three were juveniles.
“Wasatch SAR teams were deployed east of Heber searching for overdue hunters,” a statement on Facebook says.
“Three juvenile Hunters became stranded when their vehicle became stuck. SAR was able to locate the missing party at about 2 a.m. and transported back to Heber.”
The temperature was in the mid-teens when youths were located, according to online weather records.
The SAR operation lasted about 2.5 hours, the Facebook statement says.
