Nov. 2 (UPI) — Weezer and Pixies have announced a joint Summer 2018 tour that will take place throughout North America.
The two bands will begin the tour starting June 23 at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa before wrapping it up August 12 at the Chin Pavilion in Phoenix.
Other notable performances are set to take place in cities such as Dallas, Houston, Cincinnati, Toronto, Atlanta and Nashville among others. A Utah stop is planed for Aug. 1 at USANA Amphitheatre.
Weezer and Pixies will be joined by the Wombats for first third of the tour dates with additional opening acts set to be announced at a later date.
Tickets go on sale starting Nov. 10 while fans can sign up for Weezer’s mailing list to receive access to pre-sale tickets on Monday.
Pixies shared a promotional image for the tour on Twitter that features a tropical themed bar.
