WEST JORDAN, Utah, June 4, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The West Jordan Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a man who was last seen Friday afternoon.

Douglas James Steadman, 58, is believed to have early onset dementia and COPD, and suffers from sleep deprivation. He has required medications he did not take with him, the police statement says.

Steadman has long, white hair and brown eyes, and stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall. When he left, he may have been wearing a black hat, jeans, white tennis shoes and a white shirt, and driving a 1991 white Ford Ranger.

Steadman was reportedly heading toward a car show in Manti when he left. He is believed to have driven through Spanish Fork Canyon.

Anyone with information on Steadman’s whereabouts is asked to call West Jordan police at 801-840-4000.
