West Valley Man Beaten With Bat While Being Choked

WEST VALLEY, UTAH – July 14, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A West Valley man was unhurt after being attacked by two men early Tuesday morning.

According to the SLCPD the victim had just stepped off the bus at 1800 W.  Independence St., West Valley, and was heading home   when he was rushed by two black men around 12:15 a.m.

One of the men grabbed the victim around the throat while the other slammed him repeatedly in the arm with a bat.

While the victim was being held by one man the other went through his pockets.

Nothing was taken from the victim but there was a bat located at the scene.
