SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 14, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The U.S. Federal Reserve voted to raise key interest rates by a quarter point Wednesday — the first such rate hike since December 2015, and only second since the Great Recession of 2008.

While the rate hike is seen as a vote of confidence in the U.S. economy, millions of average Americans are asking the question, “What’s it mean for me?”
