SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, March 22, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman is dead after a two-car collision at the intersection of State Route 201 and S.R. 202, near Magna.
It happened at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday
One woman was transported in critical condition, but has died, Lt. Cameron Roden, Utah Highway Patrol, confirmed to Gephardt Daily.
There were no injuries in the other vehicle.
All westbound traffic on SR-201 is diverted northbound on SR-202. All southbound traffic on SR-202 is diverted to westbound SR-201. Eastbound SR-201 is open to one lane.
As of about 3:40 p.m., one lane of eastbound SR-201 had opened, Roden said.
