ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 17 (UPI) — Local government in Orlando approved the construction of what will be the world’s largest swing.
The 425-foot StarFlyer will be the largest chair swinging ride in the world, joining the east coast’s largest observation wheel the Orlando Eye.
“The Orlando Eye is a more passive experience,” said Chuck Whittall of Unicorp, the company responsible for both the Orlando Eye and StarFlyer. “And this one will thrill you a little bit more.”
The massive swing is set to break ground in 2016 at Gooding’s Plaza on Orlando’s International Drive adjacent to Madame Tussauds wax museum and Sea Life Aquarium.
