Breaking: At least ten people shot in New Orleans French Quarter

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, Dec. 1, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in New Orleans say 10 people have been shot in the city’s French Quarter.

At least 2 of the victims are reported in critical condition. Conditions of the other victims is currently unknown.

Police say the shooting took place early Sunday about 3:20 a.m. along a stretch of popular bars, businesses and hotels on famed Canal Street.

The area was reportedly packed with partiers who had attended the Bayou Classic football game earlier in the evening.

Initial reports indicated a possible suspect has been detained.
