PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 6 (UPI) — A 17-year-old boy has been taken into custody after he brandished a weapon during an argument that caused the lockdown of the school Tuesday morning.

Philadelphia Community College was put on lockdown Tuesday, and students and faculty were ordered to shelter in place after reports of a gunman on campus.

About 10 a.m. a man reported he was threatened by another man with a gun in the Bonnell Building on the school’s main campus. Police have told everyone in the building and nearby to stay in place as officers sweep the area.
