NEW YORK CITY, Dec. 27, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Trump Tower was partially evacuated on Tuesday afternoon after a backpack was found and deemed suspicious. The bag was subsequently found to contain children’s toys.
As of 5 p.m. Eastern time, the New York Police Department and NY Fire Departments were still on scene, according to media reports from CBS News. A video posted by ABC7NY showed showed people running, some of them screaming, as police rushed them off the premises.
