The Duke and Duchess Celebrate Their Wedding Anniversary, Wait for Baby
LONDON, April 29 (UPI) — The second royal baby is officially six days overdue and despite his or her tardiness, Kate Middleton and Prince William will proceed with their fourth wedding anniversary celebrations as planned.
Four years ago Wednesday, the world watched the royal couple make their vows and become the duke and duchess of Cambridge at London’s Westminster Abbey. Now, they are the happy parents of little Prince George and expecting their second child any day now — his or her gender still under wraps.
Kate Middleton was due Thursday, April 23, but reportedly hasn’t slowed down in her preparations for the new baby. She even drove herself to home Kensington Palace after taking her son to swim class, Us Weekly reports. The imperial couple will celebrate the occasion privately in London.
If the newest member of the royal family decides to arrive today then he or she will share a birthday with one of the most memorable anniversaries in history–and it so happens to be mom and dad’s.
