Brother wounded by sibling in Taylorsville shooting

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Nov. 22, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — An argument involving 2 brothers ended in gunfire Wednesday night. When it was over one sibling was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the other was being questioned by police.

According to Unified Police Lt. Ken Malone, the brothers were arguing at a home at 837 W. Mount Tuscarora Drive in Taylorsville when one of them produced a handgun and shot the other.

The wounded sibling was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray where he was stabilized and is expected to survive.

Several people who were at the residence at the time of the shooting were also being questioned by police.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
