EAGLE MOUNTAIN, UTAH – June 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A family is mourning the loss of their little loved one, four-month-old Kamanatoa Toilolo, of Eagle Mountain, who died Monday after a family member noticed he was unresponsive.

The family member immediately called 911 and started CPR on Kamanatoa. Emergency crews responded and continued the efforts to try and resuscitate the baby.

The child was declared dead at the scene, resuscitation efforts were stopped and Kamanatoa was driven to a nearby church so that a LifeFlight helicopter could land and take the child to the Office of Medical Examiner in Salt Lake.

Officers are still investigating the cause of the child’s death but do not believe that there are any suspicious circumstances since Kamanatoa was hospitalized two times in the first month after being born for respiratory related symptoms.
