Tooele man killed in suspected DUI crash on Legacy Highway

DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 24-year-old Tooele man was killed in a suspected DUI crash early Sunday morning.

Investigators for the Utah Highway Patrol told Gephardt Daily Ryan Cody Tso died after the GMC Yukon in which he was a passenger rolled while heading north on Legacy Highway about 4:30 a.m.

According to the UHP, the male driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled near mile marker 1.

A front seat passenger received minor injuries, while Tso, who was a backseat passenger, was partially ejected and killed when the Yukon came to rest on top of him.

The driver, who was charged with DUI, was uninjured in the rollover. His name has yet to be released.
