SALT LAKE CITY, UT – June 18, 2015 – Gephardt Daily
If you like it hot, you’re going to love the forecast.
The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City says Thursday will be the hottest day of the year so far, with highs along the Wasatch Front in the mid 90s.
Temperatures in southern Utah will be in the low 100s.
It’s a trend that won’t end any time soon.
People are being told to be conscious of the heat as they go about their day. Be sure and stay hydrated, wear sunscreen if you’re going to be outdoors and keep an eye on neighbors and pets.
Experts warn it’s especially critical that children and pets never be left unattended in vehicles this time of year.
