Blue Angels Beach Fly-By Sends Canopies, Umbrellas Flying Into The Air
PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla., July 14 (UPI) — A member of the Navy’s Blue Angels flight squad sent tents, umbrellas and canopies flying into the air after a close fly-by over a Florida beach.
A video posted to YouTube by MrJasonmx3 shows one of the planes, identified in the description as Blue Angel No. 5, doing a low fly-by during a demonstration Saturday at Pensacola Beach.
The wind from the plane’s high-speed fly-by causes canopies, tents and umbrellas to fly into the air, leaving beach-goers scrambling to recover their property.
