VENICE, CALIFORNIA March 6 (UPI) — Hollywood star Harrison Ford remains in the hospital following his crash landing on a California golf course Thursday afternoon and is expected to make a full recovery.

The actor’s rep said in a statement to Us Weekly he was “flying a WW2 vintage plane today which stalled upon take off.”

“He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely,” he said. “He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”

Ford, a pilot, reportedly suffered gashes to the head and was seen bleeding at the scene. The incident marked the actor’s third crash landing.

The 72-year-old actor’s son, Ben Ford, told worried fans via Twitter on Thursday the “Indiana Jones” star was “Battered, but ok!
