LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12 (UPI) — Janet Jackson, who announced in April that she was taking time off to focus on planning a family, has officially announced her pregnancy after rumors have been swirling for months.
“We thank God for our blessing,” Jackson told People in an exclusive interview.
Jackson, 50, announced earlier this year that she was postponing her “Unbreakable” tour to focus on starting a family with her husband Wissam al Mana.
Jackson’s brother Tito told Radio Andy in May that the singer was expecting, though neither Jackson nor al Mana officially confirmed the news until now.
“She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well,” a source close to Jackson said. “She actually feels very good about everything.”
