LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 (UPI) — Will Smith is convinced that he is living next door to lions and shared his experience of being amongst the animals Thursday on “Ellen.”

After hearing of the story, host Ellen DeGeneres figured that the actor was confused.

“You say there’s a lion loose in your neighborhood…Do you know what a lion looks like?’ she said to Smith as she tried to explain how he was in fact near a mountain lion or a big feral cat.

“Now what is that? That’s a lion Ellen!” Smith responded back after he previewed security cam footage from his home that featured a mountain lion walking across his driveway.

“You see one of them jokers in Kenya!” he continued, unconvinced that the animal was anything but a lion. “Ellen that looks like Mufasa walking around.”

When asked how he dealt with the situation. Smith stated, “You immediately put the kids on punishment, you call the ranger, and the ranger comes out and says you have a lion.”

“You have to buy lion urine, and he [Park Ranger] just happened to have some. Lion urine is $38.99 a gallon,” he stated. “They sprinkle the lion urine in a circle around your house, and apparently that keeps the lions away.”

Wanting a more permanent solution, Smith then joked about moving the lions over to a fellow Hollywood star’s house that lives in his neighborhood.

“I thought he should have at least been able to relocate it to Denzel’s house!”
