WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH – October 17, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Human remains discovered near Enterprise on Friday were identified as those of 40-year-old Kennard Murray Dixon of Cedar City late Saturday evening. The body was discovered in a remote area about nine miles southwest of the Enterprise Reservoir by a resident moving cattle.
At the scene, investigators with the Washington County Sheriff’s office also found a vehicle with out of state license plates that appeared to have been involved in an accident.
Dixon was last seen in the Las Vegas area on September 25 and was listed as missing by family members after they were unable to contact him.
Investigators are still looking into the events that led up to Dixon’s death and awaiting autopsy results from the Medical Examiner’s Office. However, so far investigators with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office have found no evidence of foul play.
