LEHI, Utah, Sept. 15, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Seven snakes have been rescued after a blaze at a Lehi apartment complex Friday morning.

The fire in the area of 430 N. 470 West broke out just after 7 a.m. and affected one unit, leaving the neighboring units with smoke damage, Lehi officials said in a Twitter post.

The apartment complex was evacuated but there were no injuries.

The Red Cross will be assisting the displaced residents.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire or the exact extent of the damages.
