SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah, April 22, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorhome and the trailer it was pulling caught fire Wednesday morning, near Echo, in Summit County.

The motorhome and trailer were westbound on Interstate 84, near mile marker 119. It happened at about 5:30 a.m., Lt. Cameron Roden, Utah Highway Patrol, told Gephardt Daily.

“A motorhome pulling a trailer caught fire, and was on the right shoulder,” Roden said, adding there was “heavy fire on the trailer and the back of the motorhome.”

“They closed westbound for about an hour, but then held the right lane for about another hour until they got it removed.”

No injuries were reported, Roden said.

“No one was injured because they were able to get out.”
