Salt Lake Police Search For Attempted Child Abductor

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – June 16, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police in Salt Lake City are searching for a man who may have attempted to nab a 12-year-old Rose Park boy Monday afternoon.

According to the SLCPD watch log, the 12-year-old stopped to drink from a water fountain near 800 South Emery Street when the suspect attempted to grab him from behind.

The victim told police he shoved the suspect and rode his bike home and called police.

The attempted assailant is described as a male white, tall and skinny, bald, with a lot of wrinkles, wearing a blue shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information on the attempted abduction is asked to call Salt Lake Police.
