SANTAQUIN, Utah, Oct. 18, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A semi-trailer fire caused the closure of northbound Interstate 15 at Santaquin Main Street Tuesday afternoon.
All lanes were initially shut down after the vehicle fire broke out at approximately 1:15 p.m. at mile post 247, according to tweets from Utah Department of Transportation.
By 2:30 p.m., the left lane had re-opened but the right lane remains closed, and drivers are being warned to expect congestion in that area.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire, or if anyone was injured.
