CENTERVILLE, Utah, May 14, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Centerville police have arrested a male suspect and interviewed and released a female person of interest after a home burglary that occurred Thursday.

Centerville Police Department officials said Donald Shane Andrus, 41, was arrested after a tip was submitted to officials.

Andrus was located in Salt Lake County and booked into jail over the weekend. No further details were provided regarding the arrest.

According to a news release from Centerville police, Andrus is wanted in Colorado for a parole violation and Nevada for a weapons offense. He was also considered to be a flight risk, and may have been armed, police said.

In a news release Thursday, police said a Taurus 9 mm semiautomatic handgun in a small black case was stolen from the home, in addition to a bicycle.

Police also located and interviewed the person of interest, Stephanie Didericksen, 43, Monday.

“She was cooperative with our detectives and has been released after the interview was complete,” a news release from the CPD said. “Once again we thank the public for the tips and media for helping get the word out.”

Police said Didericksen pawned the bicycle that was stolen in the residential burglary.
