Johnny Depp Visits Kids in Brisbane Hospital
BRISBANE, Australia, July 8 (UPI) — Johnny Depp took time away from the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 set to visit sick kids in a Brisbane hospital.
Depp who is in Australia currently shooting Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales, took a surprise trip to Brisbane’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital dressed as the famous pirate.
Depp and Graham not only visited but also took photos with the kids and videos, but also entertained and gave out “gold” coins to the kids.
ABC News Australia reported that Depp showed up in a helicopter in what was supposed to be a private visit where parents were not supposed to take photos or videos.
Many of the photos show Depp laughing and playing with the children.The actor asked not to be rushed along and was able to spend as much time as he could with the kids, even circling rooms a second time.
The hospital foundation posted to Facebook a thank you to the stars for coming by and spending time with the kids, stating they were “making a real difference for sick kids and their families in hospital”
