Walking Dead Returning in October with New Cast Members
The sixth season of “The Walking Dead” will premiere Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. with a special 90-minute episode, AMC announced in a press release. The new season will have a total of 16 episodes.
The first 8 episodes of season 6 will be released weekly beginning in October with the second half of the season slated to begin in February.
AMC also welcomes actors Ethan Embry and Emmy winner Merritt Wever to the cast and released the new trailer for the show
“The Walking Dead” has been TV’s highest-rated show on television averaging an 7.3 rating among adults with 14.2 million total viewers.
