SALT LAKE CITY – August 20, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – An unidentified man, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was seriously injured Thursday night while long-boarding in City Creek Canyon.
Rescue teams from the Salt Lake City Fire Department and SLCPD were called to the scene around 9 p.m.
When they arrived they found the injured load-boarder slipping in and out of consciousness.
Rescuers say he appeared to suffer a head injury, in addition to multiple cuts and bruises.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital.
