MURRAY, Utah, Feb. 9, 2023 (Gephardt Daily) — Murray City police are asking for the public’s help after a fatal auto-pedestrian accident Thursday morning.
A driver remained at the scene after the 5:53 a.m. accident occurred, which happened at 4500 South and 500 West.
But investigators believe there may have been an additional vehicle.
“At this time, officers are attempting to locate a second vehicle that may have
been involved,” a statement from Murray City police says. “The vehicle is described as a Silver Mazda 6 that likely has front-end damage. There is a possibility the driver is unaware what was struck.
“If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact Murray City Police Dispatch at 801-840-4000, and reference case number MR23-4793.
No details have been released about the person who was struck and killed.
