BURLINGTON, Vt., April 16 (UPI) — Ben & Jerry’s is expanding its horizons by making a salted caramel brownie beer.

The new beer is called Ben & Jerry’s Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale Beer and will be available this coming fall.

The beer has been crafted with the New Belgium beer company. It will contain 6.3 percent alcohol.

“We’re big fans of New Belgium Brewery, their values, and their fun culture and, of course, their beer,” Ben & Jerry’s senior global marketing manager Jay Curley said in a statement. “We’re excited for the campaign we’ve developed together. When two B Corps collaborate, our fans can expect something both delicious and impactful.”

The two companies said they will work to use the beer to raise awareness about issues they care about, qualifying them as a “Beneficial Corporation” or B Corp.

Details about the campaign surrounding the beer will be released closer to the product launch.
