Bethesda Softworks’ multiplayer role-playing epic The Elder Scrolls Online will explore new territory: the video game console.
The publisher announced ESO will make its debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 9. The game will also ditch a monthly subscription, requiring players only make the initial purchase of the game.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will include the original game, which launched last year for PC and Mac, as well as all updates and content added after the game launches. This special edition will be available on PC and Mac in March.
The game will also include a premium ESO Plus subscription option that offers access to downloadable content packs and bonuses to gold and experience points. ESO players who already subscribed to the game will automatically become a Plus member.
