SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – August 26, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Sam Mills USA LLC has recalled 11,083 cases of 4.4 ounce boxes of Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Granola Bar snacks.
The recall is because the Sam Mills Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Granola Bar packaging states it is a dairy free product, when in fact it should be labeled “may contain traces of dairy”.
All of the lot codes of Sam Mills Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Granola Bars that have been bought in the U.S between December 18, 2014 and July 23, 2015 should be taken back to stores as well as pulled from all retail store shelves immediately.

It has been determined by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) that there is a risk of cross contamination with a dairy product. The recall does not affect any other Sam Mills Gluten Free product.
