Her brother Daniel died of cancer Saturday in a palliative care residence outside Montreal, the CBC reported.
The eighth of 14 children was 59. News of his death comes two days after his Grammy Award-winning sister’s husband Rene Angelil succumbed to throat cancer.
Angelil’s funeral is to take place in Montreal Friday, while a viewing will be held the following day for Daniel.
Celine, 47, has temporarily postponed shows for her Las Vegas residency as she recovers from the back-to-back losses.
