April 24 (UPI) — “Gotham” star Chris Chalk married Kimberley Dalton Mitchell over the weekend.
The 39-year-old actor, who plays Lucius Fox on the Fox series, wed Mitchell in an outdoor ceremony Saturday in his hometown of Asheville, N.C., according to Us Weekly.
Chalk and Mitchell, an actress who has appeared on Days of Our Lives, tied the knot in front of 135 guests at North Carolina Arboretum before heading to Grand Bohemian Hotel for dinner and dancing.
“We told our DJ, ‘Pretend you’re DJ-ing for the club. That’s what we want,'” Chalk shared. “Just trying to throw the ultimate dance party.”
“Underground” star Alano Miller and “She’s Gotta Have It” actress DeWanda Wise served as best man and maid of honor, respectively. The pair introduced Chalk and Mitchell, who got engaged in September.
“I’s married now,” Chalk confirmed in a tweet Sunday. “To our very best friends @DeWandaWise and @AlanoMiller, everything is better because of your love and support!”
Chalk guest starred as Lucius in “Gotham” Season 1 before being made a series regular in Season 2. He is also known for playing Tom Walker on “Homeland,” Gary Cooper on “The Newsroom” and William Still on “Underground.”
