NEW YORK, May 31 (UPI) — Comedy Central says it plans to air the 75-minute specialJeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live at Brazos County Jail on June 13.

Ross is known for presiding over the cable television network’s roasts of celebrity targets such as Justin Bieber and Charlie Sheen.

For his latest special, Ross spent three days at the Brazos County Jail in Texas and experienced firsthand how inmates survive behind bars. He also spoke with numerous detention officers at the facility in an effort to learn about their inmate behavior management philosophy and to see how challenging their jobs can be.

Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live at Brazos County Jail is a compelling, funny, unfiltered look at life in an orange jumpsuit,” Comedy Central said in a news release. “In this special, Ross touches on the controversial topics surrounding incarceration in America such as race, the use of solitary confinement and the death penalty.”
