May 25 (UPI) — Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and actress Judi Dench received honorary Harvard degrees Wednesday.

Actor James Earl Jones, composer John Williams, former Lockheed Martin Corp. chairman Norman Augustine, Somali human rights activist Hawa Abdi Dhiblawe, University of California, Davis professor Sandra M. Gilbert, School of the Art Institute of Chicago chancellor Walter Massey and Harvard professor Michael Rabin were also recognized at Harvard University Commencement Day.

Zuckerberg, who studied at Harvard before dropping out to focus on Facebook, will serve as the featured commencement speaker. He shared a photo of himself with dad Edward Zuckerberg and mom Karen Kempner on Facebook after receiving his honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

“Mom, I always told you I’d come back and get my degree,” he captioned the picture.

Zuckerberg visited his old dorm room on the Harvard campus Tuesday. He said in a post that he will “share what [he’s] learned about our generation and the world we’re all building together” in his commencement speech.

Dench, meanwhile, received an honorary Doctor of Arts degree. The British actress, who has starred in such films as ‘Shakespeare in Love,” ‘Chocolat” and ‘Philomena’ during her 60-year career, will next appear in the period drama ‘Tulip Fever.”
