LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) — Music superstar Selena Gomez has returned to Instagram, following a three-month absence.
“I have a lot to be thankful for this year.. My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet,” the 24-year-old artist wrote in Friday’s post. “I’ve finally fought the fight of not ‘being enough’. I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless.”
The message accompanied a black-and-white photo of her smiling with a crowd of fans.
Earlier this week, Gomez made headlines when she gave an emotional speech at the American Music Awards ceremony. The singer has avoided the spotlight since announcing in August she is suffering from lupus and would take a break from work to focus on her health.
