PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., May 5 (UPI) — The Walking Dead star Seth Gilliam was stopped early Sunday morning, in Peachtree City, Ga., for speeding and then arrested for DUI.

According to a police report obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was driving 107 mph in a 55 mph zone and blew a 0.107 blood-alcohol level during a breathalyzer test after admitting to drinking three beers and a shot.

To make matters worse, the officer on the scene detected a smell of marijuana coming from the actor’s vehicle and later found a joint, which resulted in an additional charge of possessing less than an ounce of the drug.

The actor was arrested and taken to Fayette County Jail, CNN reported, then released after posting a $9,818 bond.

Gilliam joined the hit AMC series last season and plays a priest named Gabriel. Filming for season six began this week in Atlanta, but the show has declined to comment on whether his arrest will impact the production schedule.
