LOS GATOS, Calif., Feb. 19 (UPI) — Netflix has released a new trailer for their upcoming martial arts sequel, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.

The clip follows actress Michelle Yeoh reprising her role as Yu Shu Lien from the original film helping to train the young and eager Silver Vase (Xia Zitong) in order to protect the sacred Green Destiny sword from an evil conquerer.

Directed by noted martial arts choreographer Yuen Woo-ping, who worked on films such as The Matrix and Kill Bill, the trailer features the original’s signature high-flying and acrobatic fight scenes as characters soar through the air.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny tells an epic story of lost love, young love, a legendary sword and one last opportunity at redemption, set against breathtaking action in an epic martial arts battle between good and evil that will decide the fate of the Martial World,” reads the film’s synopsis.

Other newcomers to the series include Donnie Yeng, Jason Scott Lee, Harry Shum Jr., and JuJu Chan.

Released in 2000, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was an international hit earning $213 million on a $17 million budget and winning Best Foreign Language Film at the 2001 Academy Awards.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny hits the streaming service on Feb. 26.
