LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) — The CW has ordered more episodes for Season 2 of its ongoing superhero ensemble series, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the originally planned 13-episode season will now consist of 17 episodes.
The network is extending its sophomore run due to averaging 2.34 million viewers and for the show’s recent resurgence with new cast members Nick Zano (Citizen Steel) and Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Vixen).
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” is the CW’s fourth DC Comics based superhero series that was spun-off from network staples “Arrow” and “Flash.” A crossover special that also features “Supergirl” is planned for December.
