2,405 Rocky Mountain Power customers without electricity, 1900 in Fruit Heights

FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah, April 13, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — The Rocky Mountain Power website says 2,405 of their customer lost power Tuesday evening, the majority of them in the Fruit Heights area.

The outages, which stretched from Ogden to Orem, were first reported at 8:13 p.m.

RMP says electricity is expected to be restored by 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

There is a high wind warning for much of northern Utah from 6 p.m. Tuesday through noon Wednesday. The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City said wind gusts in excess of 70 mph were expected overnight.
