911 Call From Teen Involved in Capsized Boating Incident at Willard Bay Released
BOX ELDER COUNTY, UTAH – APRIL 3, 2015 (GEPHARDT DAILY) – The 911 call from a 17-year-old who called for help after their boat capsized in Willard Bay has been released.
The boy and his grandfather, 71, had been fishing Wednesday night when their boat capsized. The boy was able to use his cell phone to call 911.
Utah State Park officials along with Box Elder County Sheriffs were the ones who responded and were able to rescued the two.
The elderly man was taken by helicopter to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden and the teen was taken by ambulance.
