NORTH SALT LAKE, UTAH – September 9, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The death of a man found along the Jordan River in North Salt Lake Wednesday morning has been ruled a suicide.
According to Salt Lake Police Detective Veronica Montoya, dispatch received the call around 9:15 a.m. when workers clearing brush along Jordan River Trail, near 1750 N. Redwood Rd., found the body of an unidentified male.
“It appears the man has been deceased for a little while, more than a couple of weeks,” said Detective Montoya. “We had originally called the death suspicious because we are unable to determine a cause of death, however at this time it has been ruled a suicide by our homicide detectives.”
