West Valley: Fire Breaks Out At Valley Fair Mall
West Valley City March 13, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Fire crews were called out to the scene and were able to get the fire extinguished.
All theaters and the north side of the mall were evacuated as firefighters worked on getting all of the smoke out of the building.
Battalion Chief Fox stated, “It looks as though the fire started from a security go-cart that was plugged in.”
Although there was a lot of smoke and the sprinklers went off there have been no injuries.
“As of this time no smoke inhalation or injuries have been recorded,” Says Fox.
